This is a fun basketball dribble drill for kids focused on ball handling and contested shooting.
Players compete against each other in a selected ball handling drill.
The fastest to complete the youth basketball drill drives to the basket to score.
The slowest player must give their ball to the coach and chase down the offensive player, attempting to contest their shot.
The winner stays in but swaps starting spots, while a new opponenet enters to challenge.
For an overall winner, play to a score, or for an amount of time, with the highest score winning.
Don’t forget to change teh youth basketball ball handling drill after a few rounds to keep your youth basketball players engaged.
