In this video OzSwoosh Academy Athlete Ethan demonstrate a simple open court foot fakes drill against a chair.
Ahead of arriving against a chair he executes 4 different foot fakes each time through including a stutter step, hesitation, onside dribble (i.e. inside out move) and reverse pivot fake

Basketball Drill Purpose
To help lay the foundational basketball footwork and dribbling techniques required in basketball when driving past an opponent. To build a foundation for good footwork pace, acceleration and ball control, as well as agility.
Basketball Equipment Needed
Half a Basketball Court and 1 basketball per athlete. An obstacle (i.e. chair, D-man etc) for athletes to execute against or a coach standing at the Free Throw Line.
Have athletes add crossover moves at the obstacle to work on different moves, also move the obstacle to the wings to change driving angles.
